Lorzate also found a new mace and shield, though the mace has a required level of 100. He and the pet just need to upgrade one spell each from V to VI to be totally done, definitely not needed though. He pretty much has all the spells I wanted for them, the pet as well. I always hate leaving the game before getting to a big milestone (finishing the act).Īs far as items, Lorzate got really lucky with finding spells.
By the time I had gotten to level 93, Lorzate was almost done with Act 2. Act 1 went super quick, but Act 2 took some time. NG+ was only hard because I switched from Normal to Veteran difficulty. The game even tells you how many there are. My level 100 mace does 700 DPS while the legendary axe does 1000 DPS. I would guess they are 20-30% more powerful than an equal item-level unique. These are a class even above uniques with extremely powerful stats. In this update, I found not one, but two legendary items. I was thinking there would start being huge exponential experience requirements per level, but it never happened. It only took one act to gain these last 6 levels. They made the leveling curve more generous, but Torchlight 2 was a whole lot more interesting to level in. Compared to Torchlight 1, it took about 15 hours less to get to level 100. Lorzate finally made it to level 100! Well, maybe I shouldn’t say finally.
